Earlier this week Year 2 welcomed visitors from Croda.
The children experimented to find the best way to make foam, they tested 3 different soap solutions to find the one that foamed the best and then made their own slime! 🫧🧪 🤩👏🏻

Year 2 enjoyed a visit from GW Power.
They looked at how to stay safe at work and tried on some of the safety clothes that we can use to protect us at work. They also looked at grouping different things into mechanical and electrical.

Congratulations to Edde-Grace and her dance partner they competed in the Staffordshire Open competition over the weekend
They are now Ballroom champions in all classes, Latin champions in beginners and vice champions in under 12's Jive

The children loved wearing hair nets and learning about how colours are used in the print industry using large Heidelberg print presses.

They looked at what Green energy is and how we get it. The children also looked at various electrical and mechanical items.
