On Thursday Year 5 were investigating water resistance.
They formed various shapes from plasticine and placed them in bottles of water to help answer the question
Does surface area affect the time taken for an object to sink?
They made predictions, recorded results and wrote conclusions.

Author Phil Earle is visiting Acre Heads on Friday. Years 5 and 6 will enjoy an assembly during the afternoon and there will be a book signing in the Reading Retreat from 3.30pm.
