Year 6 created miniature freshwater ponds using air-dry clay. They experimented with their hands and a range of tools to create different textures and effects, carefully shaping the pond base, rocks and smaller features. They added details such as frogs, lily pads and ducks, taking inspiration from animals and plants found in freshwater habitats. 🐸🌿💧

Hensall had a great day yesterday exploring lino printing. They started by designing and tracing, before cutting the lino to create prints.

🏔️🎨 Art Week in Year 5! 🎨🏔️
Year 5 have been getting creative making their very own mini Mod-Roc mountains, inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the Taiga biome! 🌲❄️
The children built their mountain structures before carefully layering and shaping the Mod-Roc to create realistic peaks and textures. We can’t wait for them to dry so we can add the finishing touches! 🖌️✨
