What does PE and Sports mean at Acre Heads?
We believe that active, healthy learners develop positive attitudes towards themselves, their learning, and the world around them. Participation in high-quality physical education builds confidence, self-esteem, and a lifelong love of being active.
At Acre Heads, PE is a high-profile part of our curriculum and plays a central role in the learning and development of every child. It makes a vital contribution to the health, wellbeing, and self-worth of our school community.
We take a holistic approach to sport and physical activity, ensuring all pupils can participate and achieve. Collaboration and partnership are key — we work with both school staff and skilled external providers to make the best use of resources, broaden opportunities, and raise participation and achievement for all children.
